“I was introduced to REAL Life Therapy by a friend, I was having personal difficulties in my marriage and had a series of sessions with Madeleine. Her approach was friendly and professional, and I always felt in control of my own thoughts, I was gently nudged to question and delve further into my thought processes. This ultimately allowed me to see my then dilemma clearly and begin to resolve and find a way forward. At a later point in my life, I lost my very dear brother, we were extremely close and losing him was overwhelming for me. I turned to Madeleine for help as I could not see my way through this loss. Once again, she steered me into accepting my grief, I cried a lot in the earlier sessions but gradually through a very sensitive approach I was able to talk about my brother and begin to celebrate our closeness and his life and indeed acknowledge how I had helped him through his death. As grief is an ongoing journey and one which never leaves you, Madeleine invited me to group meditation sessions which gave me an enormous amount of comfort. I would highly recommend REAL Life Therapy and Madeleine and know for certain that she gave me a key to begin to unlock some of my pain. “I joined Madeleine’s REAL Life Therapy Meditation Group in January 2017. It was one of the best things I ever did, and I still feel like I learn something new every session. “After many years of helping and being there for everyone else in my life, the time was right to do something for me. I had no idea how to do this effectively. Whilst on Facebook I came across an advert for a self-awareness course which was starting up and to run for a year one session a month. I thought, why not give it a go I need to be in a better place.... unfortunately, some events happened, and I was unable to start. I sent a message to Madeleine who assured me that once all was ok I could join the group at any time. I could feel the warmth I was later to encounter personally just by this email. Madeleine and Rita through the sessions I have given me guidance and support to help me make the changes that I hope will last. In the beginning I was very wary of whether this was right for me and even doubted myself, but it didn’t take long to feel at ease and open to the therapy that Madeleine and Rita were offering.
